The Role
As a Business Analyst with D&I, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that data strategies are aligned with business goals and that our solutions provide maximum value to the organizations we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the elicitation of business and functional requirements, documenting and socializing requirements/user stories across stakeholders.
Identify and analyze problem areas, gaps, or conflicts from gathered information to propose actionable solutions.
Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, including glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata management processes, and data quality policies.
Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating clear communication with project managers, developers, subject matter experts, and end users.
Prepare comprehensive documentation outlining expected benefits, use cases, as-is and to-be processes, workflows, data flows, and end-user adoption strategies.
Organize and facilitate user acceptance testing, coordinating feedback from business and technical stakeholders.
Support development and testing activities by clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop and deliver training sessions for end users to ensure effective adoption of data solutions.
Generate test plans and test cases, executing both functional and non-functional quality assurance testing during software development.
Maintain accurate testing status reports throughout the testing phases and assist in generating technical user guides and operational documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in information technology and five (5) years in data management, with a focus on data governance, quality, and integration.
Demonstrated experience in data products, web services, SQL, Python, and ETL testing.
Strong technical understanding of data management functions, particularly in data governance and quality frameworks.
Proven experience in business analysis and process optimization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and BI tools (ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, etc.).
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in agile project environments and knowledge of best practices in data strategy and governance.
